Because I am one person. Taking on four tasks at once makes all four finish later than working through them in order. This way you always know what is being worked on right now, and what is next in line.

What if I do not use the hours one month?

Tell me and we pause or move them. I would rather move the hours than invoice for a month where nothing happened.
